The Future Of Online Gaming
from the big-big-business dept
Online gaming is really catching on. According to the latest study, already 9% of all traffic over the US internet backbone is through online gaming. This number is only expected to rise dramatically as more people start using consoles to play games online through Xbox Live and Sony's new online offering. The study seems to suggest that, while some people may stick to free online gaming options, pay-for-play has a real opportunity (as seen in the success of Xbox Live).
