The Segway Outlaw
from the riding-an-illegal-Segway dept
We've had a few stories about reactions to people who are among the early adopters of Segway scooters in Washington DC and New York City. However, this latest such profile is a little different. Because San Francisco has decided to ban Segway's on city sidewalks, one normally upstanding San Francisco citizen finds himself regularly breaking the law just to commute to work. He seems to like the Segway, though, he wishes it went much faster. Despite the new law, he said he hasn't run into any problems with the police - who mostly just smile at the Segway.
