Toys Were Us: Leaving Reality Behind
from the etoy-vs-eToys dept
Earlier this month we linked to some reviews of Leaving Reality Behind, a new book looking at the trademark battle between eToys.com and Etoy. Now, Salon's Andrew Leondard - who was apparently the first American journalist to cover Etoy - is weighing in with his review of the book, making it sound quite interesting. In the earlier reviews, it was said that the authors don't take sides, and let the story speak for itself. The Salon review takes this a step further, and points out that the descriptions of both Etoy and eToys.com could almost apply to each other. They were both groups chasing fanstastic dreams with little basis in reality.
