Emails You Wish You'd Never Sent
from the not-this-again dept
You would think this type of story has been done a thousand times before (and it has)... but that's only because it keeps on happening. The BBC is running a series on emails you regret you sent. This has been happening since the early days of email. People reply when they meant to forward. They send something to the wrong address. They say something meant to be private that gets broadcast around the world. It's happened before, and it will certainly happen again. These articles with "tips" on how to avoid it are pretty useless. The only real way to avoid making an email mistake at some point in your life is to not use email.
