from the quite-a-career dept
As DVDs become more and more popular, there's a growing "artform" for people who design the menus and special features that make DVDs so popular. There are even special awards that the artists behind those DVD elements can win. The best DVD menu/extra feature designers are apparently in high demand these days. I wonder if there will be cult followings of DVD extra designers the way there are currently cult followings around some book-jacket designers.
