Consumers Rush To Join CD Settlement
from the that-didn't-take-long dept
Apparently, all it took was for a single Associated Press article for the story to switch from no one signing up to get their music industry price fixing settlement money, to consumers are rushing to join the CD settlement. I know that since we posted the original story, I've seen it mentioned many many other places, and emailed to various lists I'm on multiple times. Of course, once enough people sign up, that just means that no one will get their money. If too many people sign up, then the money all goes to charity. Not that that's such a bad thing, of course.
