Sequoia Needs To Raise More Money
from the other-side-of-the-coin... dept
Sequoia Capital, one of the biggest of the big name venture capital firms needs to raise more money for its next fund. It's the first of the big VC firms that has needed to go out to institutional investors to raise more funds, since those investors turned negative on venture capital. While most seem to think Sequoia, with its track record, will find the investors it needs, it should be interesting to see how the VCs feel being on the other side of the coin in a tough fund raising environment.
