Microsoft Owes Money To California Residents
from the money-money-money dept
If you've just finished filling out your form to get some money back from the music industry for their price fixing ways (and you live in California), now get ready to do the exact same thing to get a little cash back from Microsoft. Microsoft has agreed to settle the class action suit filed against them in California by paying residents there who bought Microsoft software between $5 and $29 - in vouchers for more software (though, it doesn't have to be Microsoft software). I'm sure that there will be a similar sign up form as the CD money-back site.
