Federal Agency Pulls Web Documents

Following the widespread publicity surrounding Declan McCullough's column from last week about being able to download password protected "confidential" documents about airport security procedures from the Transportation Security Administration, someone from that organization was quoted saying, "we think it's safe." and "from our standpoint it's very workable and secure." It seems that someone with a little more understanding of the situation than the spokesperson has taken up the issue, and the documents have been quietly removed. Yet another example of how the DMCA doesn't actually protect us. It just makes it illegal to point out that someone is making it incredibly easy to access confidential information. How is that useful again?
