Segway Scooter Among Best Sellers On Amazon.com?

While they won't reveal the actual numbers, Amazon.com is claiming that the Segway scooter is among their top sellers this holiday season. I'm assuming the only way this is even remotely possible is if they're talking in terms of total revenue brought in and not in unit sales. I highly doubt, these days, that a really large number of Segways are flying off the shelves at Amazon. While there has been a ton of hype about them, and I certainly know some people who are debating whether or not it's worth getting, I think (especially with the economy the way it is), many people are balking at the $5,000 asking price for a device which really only lets you travel a limited distance (if it's allowed at all in your town).
