Video Game Industry Has A Blind Spot To Females

Yet another story that seems to come up quite often is the lack of video games for girls. However, while the headline and the beginning of the article seem to suggest this is a huge problem, the further you read into the article, the more it sounds like companies are addressing this. First of all, it sounds like the problem is less evident in PC gaming, and now showing up more in console gaming. While they have the obligatory mention of the failure of Purple Moon (a well hyped video game company for girls that failed miserably), they also track down other companies that are developing games for girls. Sure, there aren't huge selling titles yet, but it doesn't seem as bad as it once was.
