Gateway Offering Buy One, Get One Free Computers
from the quite-a-deal dept
Gateway has been trying all sorts of tricks to get more business headed in their direction, such as selling plasma TVs, putting music fro Pressplay on machines, and using their in store boxes for distributed computing projects. Now, they're offering a "buy one, get one free" deal on computers. Of course, the one you buy needs to be on the pricey side, and the one you get free is on the incredibly cheap side (and doesn't have a monitor), but it's an interesting deal. At the very least, it gets them some publicity, but I wonder how many people will actually take them up on it.
