The most surprising thing about the news that political protestors have found the web to be useful for disseminating their message and motivating people to action is that it's taken politicians and political pundits by surprise. It seems that many protestor-type people are fairly technically savvy, so it's no surprise at all that they should realize how useful it can be for their plans.
