New research shows that people are so reliant on their mobile phones that the costs of mobile phone related accidents equals the perceived value derived from using the phone in the car. The researchers admit the information on crashes is incomplete, so don't take too much stock in the study. What's interesting is how much people have become attached to their mobiles. Now we just need to teach people when, where and how it's appropriate to use their phones.
