Winning Big Bucks At Virtual Golf
from the it's-all-virtual dept
We're getting closer and closer to the point where video games are considered sports. I wonder how long it will be until ESPN starts reporting the results of video game competitions on SportsCenter. Here's an article about a guy who won $15,000 in a virtual golf tournament. He says he's won about $65,000 this year so far. While it's easier to compare sports video games to sports, I imagine that other video game competitions will start to increase in stature before too long.
