Tech Companies Ask For Unfiltered Net

A group of big name tech companies banded together today to send the FCC a letter asking them to keep the internet unfiltered. If you didn't realize there was a threat of the internet being filtered you're probably not alone. Even the tech companies admit that it's a "hypothetical" situation right now, but they're afraid that cable companies are working to put in place user agreements that would let them filter access to certain sites.
