FTC Sues Six In Spam Round-Up
from the keep-'em-coming dept
The FTC continues its attempt to explain to spammers that they're breaking the law by suing six more spammers. Of course, they're mostly being sued for unfair trade practices (meaning that they lie in their spams) instead of the act of spamming itself which still remains blissfully legal at the federal level. Some of the spammers were simply sending out pyramid scheme spams, and the FTC says they sent warning letters to another 100 similar spammers.
