SMS A Human Rights Issue?

DV Henkel-Wallace writes "The Sydney Morning Herald reports that an Indian "human rights" group burned a mobile to protest its "unindian" nature." Specifically, they're claiming that SMS messaging is the root of all divorces. I know that all new technologies seem to spark some sort of backlash, but this seems a little extreme.
