Label Mania Lends Dazzle To Humble CD's
from the that's-what-you-get dept
Apparently, I really don't care that much. At least, that's what the NY Times says about anyone who doesn't make fancy labels for any CD they burn. I don't deny the accusation, but it does seem to me that some of the people profiled in this story as expert CD label makers have a little too much time on their hands. The article says that the "in" thing these days is to create cool homemade labels for any CD you burn, though, there's some debate over whether or not music CDs should come with a creative new label, or the one from the actual CD the contents were copied from. As you can imagine, this is just one more thing that the music industry is upset about.
