An Anonymous Coward writes "Thought you might want this on your radar screen... Business 2.0 takes a look at how telecom startup SkyTower envisions a future in which flocks of unmanned high-altitude, solar-powered planes will bring consumers cheap and reliable wireless broadband." There have been a number of similar ideas before, most of which have gotten nowhere. This one does seem slightly more promising. In many ways, it's just a cheaper competitor to a satellite.
