Judge OKs Most Of Microsoft Settlement
from the in-case-you-hadn't-seen-it-elsewhere dept
Because it's not likely that this will be over analyzed to death over the next week or so in every place imagineable, I figured I'd be among the millions to post the news that the judge in the Microsoft anti-trust trial has given the thumbs up to most of the settlement. It seems that, in the end, Microsoft's strategy won out. While they did a dreadful job defending their case and were actually found guilty of violating anti-trust law, they realized the longer they kept this whole mess going on, the sicker people would get of it - and eventually they'd get off easy.
