New Webcasting Alliance Formed

Somehow, I get the sense that this is a situation that isn't going to move forward in a friendly manner. Following the news a few weeks back that the "compromise" between webcasters and the RIAA on webcasting fees wasn't making most webcasters happy, a new alliance of webcasters has been formed to take up the fight and try to negotiate a different settlement with the RIAA. However, who knows if this group will be able to get any attention, as it now seems that there are any number of groups all claiming to be the group best representing the interests of small webcasters.
