How Internet Time's Fifteen Minutes Of Fame Ran Out
from the slowth dept
Forget internet time. Apparently, it's now been replaced by "slowth". Instead of rushing product cycles and releasing a new product every month, companies are slowing things down. No one's buying, so why rush to get a product out the door? In fact, why not (gasp!) keep it inside and actually get the product right before you release it. What a concept. Of course, not everyone says internet time is dead - but they do say the idea got a bit out of control for a while.
