Apparently federal agencies who find themselves on the wrong end of the budget cutting knives have their websites live on long past the agencies that spawned them. The University of North Texas has a program that stores the websites associated with defunct federal agencies. It's kind of like a miniature web archive with a very specific requirement. Of course, I wonder if the Wayback Machine includes all of these sites already, anyway. A simple test of the very first site in the batch (Access America) shows that the Internet Archive has a much more complete archive of it.
