Spammer Fined
from the little-good-it-will-do dept
A spammer in Oregon has apparently been fined nearly $100,000 for his activities under Washington anti-spam laws. Though, the reality is that the fine was only $2,000. Another $90,000+ was to cover legal fees. Of course, none of this will matter for a while as they plan to appeal, saying this goes against the spammer's first amendment rights.
