Culture Clash Between AOL And Time Warner

from the you-just-noticed? dept

The Washington Post apparently just noticed that there's some sort of culture clash between folks from AOL and folks from Time Warner which might have something to do with the problems the two companies have had integrating into one another and revealing those magical "synergies" everyone was talking about. I'm not sure why the Post suddenly picked up on this (plenty of others have spoken about this ever since the merger was first announced), but there are some good "insider" stories in the article. For example, it starts out with a story about a Time Warner function where people were upset that Steve Case (who still is the head of the company) showed up, since he was really an "AOL guy".
