Internet Takes World Series Ticket Peddling To New Extremes
from the what-will-it-take dept
I have to say that World Series fever in the San Francisco Bay Area has been a little on the crazy side the past few days. It seems that people are willing to do just about anything to score themselves some tickets to the games, and luckily there's the internet available to facilitate whatever transaction you might like in order to get World Series tickets. People are offering random gadgets, vacations, free parking spaces (in San Francisco this is a big deal), sperm donations, cars, personal services (secretary for a week? electrical contractor? ukele instructions? the company of a dying man?) or just plain ridiculous amounts of money. Who said the internet wasn't useful anymore?
