Dude, You're Getting Fired
from the bye-bye,-dude dept
It seems that Steven, Dell's "Dude" guy is being phased out. The company has decided they may have had enough of that advertising campaign. Amazingly, in the years that the Dell Dude campaign was on the air I managed to not see most of those commercials. However, I did see their new advertising campaign last night featuring a bunch of "interns" learning about how Dell does business. Having experienced Dell's brand of customer service over the years, I would suggest that the call center those "interns" were visiting was not actually run by Dell. Unlike my experience, no one in that call center insulted any of the callers.
