Northwest Creates Booking Tool For Travel Agents
from the it-took-this-long? dept
I'm actually surprised that this sort of thing didn't already exist. However, Northwest Airlines today made a big deal out of the fact that they're launching a special tool for travel agents to book fares for their customers. I guess I just assumed that creating that type of tool is such a simple idea that it would have been done many years ago. It's interesting, though, that this was announced right after Northwest flights have been bumped off of Expedia, suggesting that Northwest is trying to give more power to travel agents over individual consumers.
