Hal Plotkin has a good overview of the Eldred vs. Ashcroft lawsuit that Larry Lessig will begin defending in the Supreme Court next week. If you’ve been paying attention, there’s not much new in the article. However, it is a good summary of the issues, and just why Disney wants to keep its copyright on Mickey Mouse a little longer – and why Lessig (and many others) think that’s a bad thing for our society.
