A Successful Dot Com
from the always-good-to-see dept
Since everyone seems to have so much fun bashing failed dot coms, I think it's nice to post the occasional story about a successful one. Ken Layne has written an article talking about the small, but successful online syndication service, Featurewell.com, which lets well known free-lance writers easily syndicate their articles. Featurewell.com has outlasted their big name (and massively funded) competitors, by staying small and focusing on providing a great service. What a concept. The story of Featurewell.com also should be a reminder to folks that a "successful" company often doesn't need any venture capital at all.
