Internet Archive Forced To Pull Scientology Critic Site

from the not-again... dept

Yet again, it seems, a site is being bullied by Scientology lawyers. Similar to what happened to Google, Scientology's lawyers have made claims that they own the materials that were being posted on Xenu.net, and thus they requested that it not be stored in the archive. Of course, the Internet Archive then removed all Xenu.net pages, including those consisting of content entirely created by the site's owner. This actually parallels the Google case almost exactly. Now, will people go protest outside of Brewster Kahle's office, like they did at Google?
