Music Industry Wants To Indicate Copy Protected CDs With Stickers
from the well,-at-least-they'll-tell-us dept
A music industry group has suggested that maybe record labels should place a special sticker on copy-protected CDs so that consumers know they're getting cheated out of their fair use rights before they buy the CD. I certainly agree that any copy protection scheme should be well labeled, but it seems like a waste of time no matter what they do. If they put this much thought and effort into actually giving consumers what they want, everyone would be much happier right now.
