Big Tech Companies Happier In Downturn

Ah, how the pendulum swings... The joke during the dot com boom was that the old adage that "no one ever got fired for buying IBM" was no longer true. People were getting fired for buying IBM and not the latest and greatest new new thing from the dot com down the street. However, now that the boom has gone bust, the smaller startups are discovering that no one wants to do business with them any more. They want the safety and security that comes with buying from a big name technology company.
