   I have been lied to by MapQuest before. Once I tried Yahoo Maps or Expedia, I never went back. The interfaces for the interactive maps were better, the directions are better, and the print outs look better.
   If someone keeps getting bad directions from MapQuest, why do they keep going back? There are plenty of alternatives online. Someday I should compare routes from the different systems to see how they match up.

   I've found all the online map services are pretty good at getting you within a block or two of your destination, but they often turn you the wrong way on the final turn.

   Mapquest isn't bad, but I have found that it often screws up when there are two different streets with similar names. Example: 4th street NW. and 4th Street SW. Mapquest seems to get this wrong every time. Beware!

   Just looking at the MapQuest map of my neighborhood shows that it's five years out of date. A major five-lane street built back in 1997 doesn't appear on the map and several of the smaller streets are either misnamed or missing.

   I agree with mapquest mis directing you. I was lucky to have bought Street and Trips by Microsoft. Id suggest you get a package you buy because the features it offers are worth it. Esp for PDA/Laptop ppl on the road.

   Mapquest led me astray twice five years ago-never tried it again. I heard it has degraded further. Try GPS if important-can't use the "Mapquest excuse" for missing the company meeting though. My GPS system has saved me many times.

   jiffy lube sponsors mapquest. they bring you by a jiffy lube every time you get directions from them. i get directiond myelf by looking on a map.

   I've had wrong directions from all the map sites at times, that's why I've made a habit of checking several when I need directions.
   
   There's also the fact that even bought map books can contain errors. Locally we get ADC maps, and on several instances there have been missing or incorrect names on streets.

   I HAVE A PROMBLEM IT SEEM LIKE EVERY TIME I GO ON MAPQUEST IT KICKS ME OUT AND IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME I DONT KNOW IF IT MIGHT BE MY COMPUTER BUT IT IS REALLY UPSETTING ME AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF SOMEONE TOLD ME WHAT TO DO.
