Cybersecurity Firms Not Cashing In

A few days ago we posted about a study showing that many companies simply weren't spending on cybersecurity, even though they all said they saw the risks. In most cases, they seemed to think the specific threat to their own systems wasn't all that likely. It seems that the various cybersecurity firms that thought they would get more attention after the terrorist attacks are finding that things aren't as great as they expected. What they found is that due to the recession, most companies simply weren't willing to spend on cybersecurity, no matter how much they needed it.
