Having Kids Teach Kids About Online Safety
from the not-a-bad-idea- dept
I would imagine that if many parents tell their kids what not to do online, it almost assures them that the kids will end up doing that. So, it's interesting to read about a group of teenagers who work on ways to educate other children about online safety. I wonder how effective they are. I know that when I was a kid, if you believed any information was really coming from an adult (even if delivered by a kid) it was mocked. So, I wonder if kids see through these teen advisors, or if they really take them seriously.
