Satellite Time Capsule To Store Messages For 50,000 Years

from the no-rush dept

Some scientists (backed by a number of companies) are putting together a project to store messages from people in a satellite for 50,000 years, after which they hope our descendants will retrieve the wisdom we left for them (or something of that nature). While there are a number of reasons why such a project is likely to fail, you might want to donate a few bucks to the Time Travel Fund, so you can be around to see what happens when they retrieve the satellite.
