A Medieval Italian Village... With High Speed Internet Access
from the sounds-nice dept
Fast Company is running a story about a small Italian village that was basically deserted and grown over, until it was taken over, renovated by a famous architect... and given high speed internet connections into every home. They're trying to build a community there, but there's some debate as to how successful they've been. While some people have moved to the village, many others use it as a summer or vacation home. However, I must admit, the idea of a fully wired, beautiful village with a view of the mountains sounds pretty appealing.
