Intereview With A Blog Martyr
from the let's-look-at-the-facts... dept
The Register has an interesting (opinionated) interview with the reporter in Houston who was fired for having a blog. He had been writing a blog about things going on in his local beat anonymously. Apparently, the editor at his paper was "tipped off" and he was fired. Of course, the Register takes a look at the blog and doesn't see much on their that seems like a fireable offense. About the only point is that the reporter should have maybe told his employer about the blog, but even that's questionable.
