Meet The Spammers
from the now-go-away dept
Newsweek (via MSNBC) has an article talking with a bunch of spammers as they try to defend their chosen profession. Some of them even talk about making their profession more respectable, though, apparently their attempts at doing so only frustrate them because they find out that people really despise them. As someone says, if they really want to be respectable, they should get another job. It's actually a bit sickening to listen to these folks rationalize their reasons for spamming people. Personally, I have to question any one who's idiotic enough to believe that blasting annoying messages to millions of people who don't want to hear them is "good business".
