Hollywood Hacking Bill Introduced

from the it's-here dept

Well, as expected, the Hollywood hacking bill has been introduced in Congress, and it sounds just about as bad as predicted. What I wonder is if Rep. Berman really believes all the crap he's spewing.

If you have an opinion or strong feeling about this or any propesed legislation, you should write your elected representative, politely, expressing your opinion/feelings. The time to do this is BEFORE the legislation becomes law not grumble about it afterwards.

Absolutely. In this case, I've already done so, based on the info that came out in the past few weeks about plans for it. I expect I'll get back a form letter like every other time I've written my representatives.

I'd also recommend people check out DigitalConsumer.org, though they don't have anything on this particular bill just yet.
