Searching For A Business Opportunity

from the it's-always-about-money dept

The latest Tony Perkins column is trying to get people interested in making money off of internet search again. Haven't we gone through this a few times before? He talks about a study showing that people use search engines an awful lot, and immediately starts trying to figure out how to make money off of this knowledge. It seems that that's the type of thinking that cause all sorts of problems over the last few years. Not that there aren't ways to make money off of search, but pumping it up as a "great opportunity" seems like he's just trying to create a new bubble.

That article was pathetic. Dragging out the stale semantic-web gunk was sad too.
