Making The Patent Process Paperless
from the is-there-a-patent-on-that? dept
There are a ton of things the patent office needs to do to improve the process they currently have for granting patents. The number of ridiculous and harmful patents have been detailed over and over again. I guess, for now, they're trying to start with simple improvements, such as partnering with five companies to let people file patents electronically, instead of the tired method of having to file actual documents. Of course, this does make me wonder if someone happens to own the patent on paperless patent filings?
