Amateurs Try To Launch Rocket Into Space
from the who-needs-governments-to-get-to-space? dept
A team of amateur rocket enthusiasts will soon attempt to launch a rocket into space. The official date to launch the rocket hasn't been released (for security purposes), but it's expected within the next week and a half. The goal is to get the rocket to reach 62 nautical miles (12 more than the commonly held distance to space). At least they're not trying to launch someone in the rocket as well.
