You Must Be Optimistic Online In Turkey

If you think that the various DMCA/COPA/CBDTPA laws in the US are bad (and they are), just be happy you're not living in Turkey. They've just passed a law that will fine ISPs for "airing pessimism" and requiring new sites to receive government approval (in the form of two hard copies sent for approval) before they can actually go online. Many in Turkey are hoping that the law will quickly be overturned by the constitutional court.
