The New York Times has an interesting article on the coming future of home entertainment servers. We've all heard the idea, one box that serves media to all the devices in your home. Great idea, love it, want it, can't wait for it. But until manufacturers can figure out interoperablity issues and more importantly, media companies stop trying to limit their customers' use of their products, we're never going to get there.
