Here's a study that suggests that music sharing helps people to discover new acts, which is good for those musicians. If it hurts anything, it's the sales of major superstars that the industry likes to promote. Perhaps that's why they're so angry about all of this? They won't be able to manufacture crap plasticy boyband/girlband pop any more?
