Traveling Round The World For Free - Thanks To The Web
from the seems-to-be-working dept
Over a year ago, we had a story about a Dutch student who put up a website trying to find places to stay for free around the world as he backpacked. According to this article at CNN, so far it's gone very well. He's received a ton of free stuff (not just places to stay) in return for sponsorship positions on his website. He's gotten free plane tickets, a free laptop, a free digital camera, and even a free tourist visa. Who says the web isn't all about getting free stuff any more?
