Selling Sex Online
from the still-big-business dept
A year ago we had an article about how prostitution was moving online, as women started advertising their "services" on websites. Apparently, that trend continues. Women selling sex services are finding the online route to be a better and safer one than more traditional methods. Of course, the police are trying to crack down, and having a website they can reference is a useful tool. Of course, the websites all appear (mildly) innocent, using fairly obvious "code words" to explain what's really being offered for sale. Since the websites don't actually offer sex for sale, they're not illegal by themselves.
